National Service Scheme

At Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rajkiya Mahila Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya, Rajajipuram, Lucknow, the National Service Scheme (NSS) serves as a vibrant platform for nurturing social responsibility, leadership, and community engagement among students. Under the visionary guidance of our Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Sushma Devi, two active NSS units are successfully functioning within the college.

Prerna Unit

Comprises 100 enrolled student volunteers dedicated to meaningful social participation.

Sadbhavna Unit

Comprises 100 enrolled student volunteers committed to service-oriented learning.

Each unit conducts four one-day camps and a seven-day Special NSS Camp annually, providing hands-on experience in rural engagement.

Participation in NSS enhances students’ sense of social commitment while developing essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership. The programme shapes socially conscious young women prepared to contribute positively to society.
